How to Prepare for the Google Analytics Certification Exam
Are you looking to get certified in Google Analytics? If so, there are a few things you should know before taking the certification exam. By understanding what is required of you and how to prepare, you can be sure that you are setting yourself up for success.
Step 1: Understand What is Covered in the Exam
The Google Analytics Certification Exam covers seven topics: Principles and Concepts, Data Collection and Configuration, Implementation and Data Collection, Reports and Configuration, Analysis and Optimization, E-commerce Tracking and Customization and Administration.

Step 2: Take an Online Course
Google offers online courses to help prepare for the exam. These courses are comprehensive and cover all of the topics that will be covered in the exam. Additionally, the courses include practice tests and quizzes to help you assess your knowledge and identify any areas where you need additional study.
Step 3: Study and Practice
Once you’ve taken the online course, it’s time to hit the books and begin studying. Make use of the practice tests that you took during your online course and shift your focus to any areas that you identified as needing additional study. It’s also a good idea to sign up for discussion forums or take online tutorials to help clarify any concepts that you may not understand.
Step 4: Take the Exam
When you believe you are ready to take the exam, sign up for the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) exam. The exam costs $50 and consists of 70 multiple choice questions. You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam and must achieve at least 80% to pass.
