See Other Channels Your Audience Watches

As a YouTuber, it's important to know what your audience is watching. This information can help you create content that is more likely to resonate with them and keep them coming back for more.

YouTube Analytics has always been a great tool for understanding your audience, but a recent update has made it even more powerful. Now, you can see what videos your audience is watching on other channels, not just your own.

This information is incredibly valuable, as it can help you identify new trends and topics that your audience is interested in. You can also use it to see what other creators are doing well and how you can improve your own content.

To access this new data, simply go to the Audience tab in YouTube Analytics and click on the Watched videos tab. You'll see a list of the top videos that your audience has watched in the past 7 days, along with the number of views and average watch time for each video.

You can also filter the data by category, channel, and upload date. This allows you to drill down and see what your audience is watching in more detail.

Few tips for using the new Watched videos tab to improve your YouTube channel:

  • Identify trends: Look for any trends in the videos that your audience is watching. For example, if you see that a lot of them are watching videos about a particular topic, you could create a video about that topic yourself.
  • See what other creators are doing well: Watch the top videos that your audience is watching from other channels. Pay attention to the titles, thumbnails, and descriptions of these videos. What are the creators doing well? How can you apply those lessons to your own videos?
  • Improve your own content: Use the information from the Watched videos tab to improve your own content. For example, if you see that your audience is watching a lot of long-form videos, you could consider making longer videos yourself.

The new Watched videos tab in YouTube Analytics is a powerful tool that can help you better understand your audience and create content that is more likely to resonate with them. Use it to your advantage to grow your channel and reach more viewers.
