How to Get a Refund for an App on Google Play
If you’ve recently purchased an app on Google Play and you’re not happy with it, you may be eligible for a refund. Getting your money back is relatively simple and should take just a few minutes of your time.
Step 1: Go To Your Order History On Google Play
To request a refund, you’ll need to first navigate to your order history on Google Play. You can do this by opening the Google Play store app, clicking on the Menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner, and then selecting “My orders”. You’ll be taken to a page that lists all of your recent purchases.
Step 2: Select the App That You Want a Refund For
Find the app that you want a refund for in your order history and select it. There should be an option to “Request a refund”. Click this option.
Step 3: Fill Out The Refund Request Form
You’ll be taken to a form that you’ll need to fill out in order to process your refund request. You’ll be asked to explain why you’re requesting a refund and provide any additional details that you feel are necessary. Once you’ve completed the form, click “Submit”.
Step 4: Wait For A Response
Your refund request will be reviewed by the Google Play team, and you will receive an email notification informing you of their decision. Depending on the reason for your refund request, it could take anywhere from a few hours to several days for you to receive a response. If your request is approved, your payment will be refunded to the same account that you used to make the purchase.
