How to Download Apps from Google Play
With the Google Play store, downloading apps to your Android device is simple. Although the process may be slightly different depending on the device you have, this guide will take you through the steps of downloading an app from Google Play.
Step One: Open the Google Play Store
To get started, find and open the Google Play Store app on your device. If it’s not already installed, you may need to download it from your device’s app store.
Step Two: Search for the App You Want
Once opened, you can use the search bar at the top to find the app you want to download. Once you have found it, click on it.
Step Three: Review Permissions
On the next page, take a look through the permissions required by the app so you understand what access it will have on your device. Once you are happy with this, click ‘Accept & Download’ at the bottom.
Step Four: Wait for the App to Download
At this point, the app will start downloading and appear in your notification bar. This may take a short while depending on the size of the app and your internet connection speed.
Step Five: Access the App from Your App Drawer
Once downloaded, you will be able to access the app from your app drawer. There should also be a shortcut icon on one of your home screens. Congratulations, you have now downloaded your app from Google Play!
