How to Update Apps on Google Play
Keeping your apps updated is important for the overall security, performance and features of your device. With Google Play, it's easy and convenient to keep all your apps up-to-date. Here's how.
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store
To begin, find the Google Play Store app icon on your Android device and tap it to open the store. You may also access the store from the web.
Step 2: Select “My Apps & Games”
Once you're in the Google Play Store, select the option labeled “My Apps & Games” from the side menu. This will take you to a list of all the apps installed on your device, as well as any additional apps you've purchased from Google Play.
Step 3: Update Your Apps
The “My Apps & Games” page will show which of your apps need updating. To update an individual app, select its icon. You'll see a “Update” button, which you can tap to initiate the update process. Alternatively, if several apps need an update, you can select them all at once and then hit the “Update All” button to begin the process.
Step 4: Wait for the Update to Finish
Your device will update your apps one by one. During this time, you may want to avoid using the device, so that the update can complete without interruption. When all your updates are finished, you'll be able to enjoy the latest features and improvements.
