How To Change Your YouTube Channel Name

Whether you want to rebrand your channel, start fresh with a new look, or simply want to give your YouTube channel a fresh name, changing the name of your channel is an easy process. Here's how to do it!

Step 1: Log in to YouTube and access the YouTube Studio

In order to change your channel name, you'll first need to log in to your YouTube account. Once you are logged in, click on your profile picture at the top right-hand corner of the page and select "YouTube Studio" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings

Once you have opened the YouTube Studio, you will be able to see your current channel name in the top left-hand corner of the page. To change your channel name, click on the cogwheel icon next to the name and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Access the General tab and change your channel name

Once you are in the Settings page, click on the "General" tab. You should now be able to see your current YouTube channel name. To make any changes, click on "Edit" next to the current name. This will open up a text box where you can enter your desired channel name. Once you have typed in your new name, click on "Save" to finalize the changes.

Step 4: Save your changes

After clicking "Save", you will be prompted to re-confirm the changes you have made. Click on the "Confirm" button to confirm your new channel name and save your changes. Congratulations! You have now successfully changed your YouTube channel name!
